It is with great sadness, that we announce a great loss to our community. A great leader, a loving husband and father, Pastor. Jacob George has gone to be with the Lord. "Our loss is heavens gain" , is how many people feel regarding pastors departure. We will truly miss him. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go toward his family and church during this time of great grief. We pray that God Almighty gives them that complete peace, which comes from knowing Jesus as their personal savior. Pastor has always been a supporter of NCCI-USA, for which we are so grateful. He was always open to bringing people together for the sake of unity and for the sake of the Gospel. When ever we held special meetings, he made it a point to postpone his own church meetings , and attend our event with participation from his church. We have been listening to Pastor's preaching and teaching for the last 7+ years. He taught the word of God, in a very effective way. Not only did he preach the word, but he practiced and lived in what he preached. He loved talking to others about the love of Jesus Christ, and wanted to make sure that every one of our community members got a chance to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. What a great loss, he will truly be missed. Quite often during his sermons he would sing one of his favorite songs "I Love you Lord". He loved singing. He loved to worship the Lord, and continuously encouraged others to worship God. He especially loved the little children of his church. Every Sunday during the time of the children's participation of the worship service, he would make it a point to let each child know that he loved them, by giving each one of them a huge hug, after which he would pray for them. All the little children of his church loved him. Pastor was used by God in various capacities not only hear in the USA, but also in India and the Middle East. He started the first pentecostal church here in Charlotte, NC in our community. Pastor Jacob George is survived by three sons (Jackson, Jaison, and Jenson), and his wife Grace. |
